Life in 1538 Dinfoil, Germany is not easy, especially for a woman. A woman who has secrets and who just happens to be in a loveless marriage with the sherif.

Will she hold on to these secrets, even with a double murder hanging over the town like a dark cloud and the village priest calling for an Inquisitor to help? Many times the ones who are called upon to help are the ones who bring destruction. And the ones who doubt are the ones who find the answers.
