My God-Sized Dream: The Next Step
It seems that the beginning of a project is the easiest. No risk of failure, since at this point no one sees it. It’s just a private moment where you’re plodding away doing what God has laid on your heart.
Then comes the time when you need to step out in faith and move forward with the plan God has. I think this is the most scary for me. What if it’s a flop? What if it will appear that I’ve wasted my time in this venture?
The blessing about all of this is God’s view of success is not mine. He doesn’t care about numbers. He cares about obedience. Faithfulness.
This is what will matter when we get to Heaven. And he will say, “Well done.”
With this thought, I have submitted my manuscript to my editor. This is when the real leg work will begin.
Let the games begin!

Yep I always do good in the beginning jumping in with both feet then somewhere along the way I get scared and I stall. Blessings on your big step.
Does God move in wondrous ways, or what? I just received the contract for my second book and the payment (gulp!). My husband and I weren’t sure if we would have to lay out more cash for the second one, but it seems like we must. Feeling badly for Danny, I open your blog – “The blessing about all of this is God’s view of success is not mine. He doesn’t care about numbers. He cares about obedience. Faithfulness.”
Dear Jennifer, the Lord spoke to my heart through you!!! When we are following His dream for us, trusting in His will, He will always make a way. He will always provide.
Know I’ll be praying over this new venture of yours that God has already richly blessed!
How exciting! Congratulations! Praying God’s idea of success over all of your works! (Love that!)

Congratulations on submitting your manuscript! That is so exciting! I hope you’re having a cupcake {or something delish} to celebrate.
Thank you, Holley! Yes, I have celebrated and it will be so exciting to see what God does!
